Bibliophile Medals of Modern Achievement - wooden laser cut brooch/badge with ribbon

£17.00

Award the prolific book reader in your life with this wooden, laser cut medal with striped ribbon. Did they reach their number of target books read this year? If yes, then celebrate their achievement.

'Bibliophile' is for anyone obsessed with books and reading.  More aspirational than the old-fashioned 'bookworm' description, this would make a great present for any literary lovers. Text around the edge is a quote from Canadian author Charles de Lint's novel "Dreams Underfoot" (an author Adrienne adores) and it reads: "Once upon a time there was what there was, and if nothing had happened there would be nothing to tell."  Accompanying card states:

BIBLIOPHILE: You have a voracious appetite for reading, and ALWAYS prefer the book to the film. You're happy reading from a tablet device, but much prefer the feel and smell of real paper.

Medals are 3.5cm diameter, and ribbon is approximately 4cm long.

Medals for Modern Achievements celebrate the things we do in our every day lives that deserve recognition.

Fourth and fifth images show other medals in the range.  All items ship in fun Frilly packaging!
