Combining technology and traditional crafts is at the heart of what we love. Each needle felted animal head is handmade by us in our studio, on trains, and even during meetings. No one animal is the same no matter how hard we may try. Each has their own unique character, and some of this depends on its maker and their mood.

Each head can take between 1- 2 hours to completely needle felt depending on the complexity of their features and depth of detail and colouring.

On each laser cut mount you will find the Latin name for that animal. (or in the case of the dinosaur, we've used Latin for 'monster')  The heads are hand sewn onto their mounts to secure them into position and fixed with a pin badge for proud wearing.

We've listed the current stock we have, however if there is an animal you'd love to own and don't see it listed, then contact us and we'll get making! 

PLEASE NOTE: no animals were harmed in the making of these brooches, though a few human fingers were stabbed!

All mounts are approximately 5cm x 4cm – though final dimensions vary depending on chosen animal
